... I grew up speaking two languages and I have always been a go-between for the two languages and cultures ... I have been surrounded by languages my whole life. As an Italian living in Germany, I grew up speaking two languages and I have always been a go-between for the two languages and cultures.
While still in school, my predilection for foreign languages began to show itself. I learned Latin, English and French. After passing my university entrance exam, I quickly became aware that I wanted to become a translator.
I chose a course of study in multi-lingual communications at the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne as well as English and French. My semester abroad at the University of Westminster in London inspired me to write my bachelor’s thesis on multi-cultural London and Britain’s immigration policy.
