Petra Kreutz

After passing my university entrance exam, I trained to become a dental assistant and I worked in that field for six years. I then decided to begin my studies. Because of my love of languages, I focused my studies on translating and interpreting (French and English) at the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne. During my studies, I had the opportunity to study for one semester at the university in Aix-en-Provence.

Upon completion of my studies, I had already worked for a translation agency where I gained an insight into the field of translating computer-related texts. I worked in that agency as a translator until 1999, when I joined the Rheinschrift team. I mainly translate technical texts from English into German, primarily in the field of computers ...

In February, 2002, my son was born and I resumed working half days in November of 2002 because I really enjoy being a part of the Rheinschrift team.
