Although I truly believe that I have mastered the art of High German, I am frequently asked where I come from. The answer to this question could be Stuttgart, Heidelberg, Mannheim, although it is actually not quite as simple as that. Then I mention Baden-Württemberg and suddenly it is clear and the response is “I kind of thought so”. I completed my foreign language correspondence clerk studies at a vocational translating and interpreting college in the beautiful city of Heidelberg. Fascinated by the classical translators’ profession, I opted to take an additional course and qualify as a translator and interpreter, once again majoring in business English.
